| Company History
Haus Specialty Manufacturing (HSM) was founded
by Bruce Haus in May 1991 to produce machined parts of excellent quality
and appearance in a very efficient environment. The company provided a
wide variety of parts for industries such as computers and medical devices.
In May 1993 HSM expanded to 1100 square feet. After four years of development,
the Haus Resurfacing System was introduced in May 1995 to meet the ball
resurfacing needs of the bowling industry. The prototype was demonstrated
at trade shows and orders were taken. First shipments were made in March
of 1996. That same month, HSM opened a new 7,500 square foot plant at
10489 Liberty Lane in Chisago City, Minnesota. By September of 1998, the
company had grown to 18 full-time employees. Another 7,000 square feet
and CNC turning capabilities were added. HSM continues to increase the
variety of metals and plastics used, the variety of services offered and
the variety of industries served. HSM continues to improve and increase
the features of the Haus Resurfacing System. HSM continues to pursue its
goals of:
- Being the vendor of choice in its field.
- Providing the best place to work for those
involved in Precision Custom Manufacturing.
